A Scottish Institution for 80 years

One of the UK’s biggest selling breads in the 1970s and 80s, this batch loaf continues to attract a loyal customer base in Scotland.

Threesixty were tasked with modernising the entire Mother’s Pride portfolio and the Scottish Plain wax wrapper was the final variant to receive a refresh.

Care was taken to ensure consumers clearly recognised the Medium and Thick cut loaves and a thistle was introduced to replace the generic wheat icons. For the final touch, we added ‘Baked in Glasgow’ as a nod to provenance.

Here’s to the next 80 years of Scottish Plain heritage.
